DIY How To: Homemade Washing Powder
Hey there people and happy Thursday to you. I hope you’re having a lovely day, wherever you may be. Today I wanted to share with you an easy peasy DIY project I use to save money at home. Here’s what you’ll need:
You will need: soda crystals, borax, a bar of soap, scales, a grater, an empty container.

Mixed powders
1. Measure out 200g of borax and 200g of soda crystals. Combine in your container.

Grated soap
2. Grate your bar of soap. (No, it’s not cheese in the photo!)

Add in your soap
3. Add your soap in with your powder mixture. Put the lid on your container and give it a good shake to combine.

All mixed up and ready to use!
TA-DA! A nice big scoop of this in your washing machine will equal a good clean wash for a little bit less than store bought alternatives :)
I hope you liked this simple DIY idea – it’s a real money saver.
Have a great day people!

  1. I’ve made a soap similar to this but it’s a liquid. It’s so much fun (and so easy!) and SO cheap!

By the way, I love your artwork! It’s so cute and delicate looking.

I hope you have a great weekend!
