hearth and home

hey there lovelies and a very happy wednesday to you, wherever you may be. today i wanted to talk a little about hearth and home with you all.

as i work from home, i do find myself fussing and tweaking things around the house quite a bit really, especially lately.

there’s nothing more satisfying than getting a little area of my home just right for me and my customers.

i tinker away until everything is just right. my poor husband just has to go along with all of these little whims i get.

for example, my art space. i recently revamped this whole area.

hearth and home

it was in readiness for my newest offer (which is available soon – my aura angel art sessions!)

i am delighted with the space, and got the opportunity to try it out with a customer just last friday, so i know it works perfectly.

it took a little effort, but i am so glad we put in that effort. the end result is definitely worth it.

another little homely ritual i have gotten in the habit of doing each evening is the lighting of the salt lamps :) i have these in almost every room (above you can see my plugin one in my art space). i also have candle holder versions in the bedroom and living room.

each evening, around 4.30/5pm i light these and we officially settle in for the evening. it’s a wonderful and simple way to help set the tone whilst also creating a calming atmosphere around the house.

what little home rituals do you have? do you work from home? i’d love to know.

did you also know i have a lovely home section over in my curious shop? it is packed full of lovely candles, mugs and notebooks for those special homey plans and dreams. you’re sure to find something you fancy there.

vesta is the goddess of hearth and home and i can teach you all about her plus make some gorgeous art together for free :) just join my curious library and you can access the vesta lesson in full right there in the library.

have fun!

here’s to a comforting hearth and home <3

ps. if you want to invite a little bit of magic and creativity into your life each month why not become a patron? i post lots of gorgeous goodies there :)

pps. if you want to work more deeply with me and unleash your inner creative magic then the sisterhood would be perfect for you – and april is the best month to join before the price doubles!

  1. Awww, I love this space <3 I work from home too, so understand trying to get the work space just right. Love your Himalayan salt lamp! I just received one for Christmas this year, and don't turn it on nearly enough–thanks for sharing and hope you have a great week (PS: Stopping in from Blog Loft FB group today)!

  2. I definitely believe in clearing the space to get ready for art and other creative projects. I also bless my space daily. I’m glad you are happy with your new space. Off to check out your home section!
