a book review: neverwhere

hey there lovelies and a very happy wednesday to you, wherever you may be. today i wanted to share with you a book review: neverwhere :)

i only recently discovered neil gaiman’s books and i’m so glad i did! he such an amazing storyteller and really draws you into the worlds he creates.

this book paints a picture of a forgotten, forbidden london that most people don’t get to see.

it’s dark dangerous and the kind of place where people can become forgotten about all together.

it has such a sense of fun for all of that though – tube train courts, floating markets and all manner of other wacky and wonderful events occur.

the book does have it’s fair share of bad guys though – and one in particular that you don’t see coming until right near the end of the book.

the book is full of magic and mystery. it’s a real page turner.

you’re immersed in this other world right from the start and each new page brings a new idea or challenge your way as a reader.

i absolutely loved it!

ps. if you want to invite a little bit of magic and creativity into your life each month why not become a patron? i post lots of gorgeous goodies there :)

pps. if you want to work more deeply with me and unleash your inner creative magic then the sisterhood would be perfect for you.

  1. I feel like the Internet ate my last attempt to comment…sorry if this is a repeat! Anyway, just wanted to say I love Neverwhere and have been trying to get my husband to read it since he finished the Graveyard Book.
